Collectcorp Collections Agent In this position I was responsible for collecting payment for The American Express Portfolio. This was considered second party collections. I collected on accounts up to 120 days. I was responsible for making at least 200 calls per day, accurate documentation and adherence to both state and federal laws. I handled sensitive customer and banking information. I used the following software in this position C.S.P, Triumph, AS400, and L.A.N. specific types.
11/2009-01/2010 Kelly Services Technical Support Specialist I was employed through Kelly services on a technical support project for Apple Inc. I used a Mac and snow leopard 7.0 software on a daily basis in order to provide support for the iPod touch and other devices. I was required to take weekly tests on content reviewed that week. I also used Google, Camino; Kelly Services based programs, and the internet. I would answer general account questions and troubleshoot the issue the customer was having with their device. During a normal business day I would easily take one-hundred or more calls. This position required great listening and multitasking skills. 06/2008-09/2008 Nationwide Credit Incorporated Collections Agent: At Nationwide Credit Incorporated I was employed as a collection agent. My duties included collection of payments on accounts eight-teen months' delinquent or more. This required the input of sensitive data such as checking account, credit card, or mailed in payment information. I also provided account specific customer service such as account status or payment history. I worked as a member of the American Express Branch. As a daily task I accessed Excel, Word, Kronos and various internet programs. This was a position that required a professional approach and great multitasking skills as at least 200 calls were required each day. 11/2007-01/2008 Direct Alliance Teletech Customer Service Representative As a customer service representative for Direct Alliance I received multiple incoming calls up to 125 per day concerning Medicare Part- D coverage. This position gave me the opportunity to engage with an older customer base. I entered account specific data, used various internet sites to access patient information. I also completed H.I.P.P.A training which pertained to customer health information and how it is to be protected. It was also my duty to educate the customer of their options. I operated a multiple line phone system, my computer, accessed Kronos, Word and other site specific programs.
12/2005 - 01/2007 KinderCare Lead Teacher In this position I got to explore one of my true passions teaching children. During my experience as a lead teacher I instructed up to twenty-six two-year-old children. It was my duty to implement lesson plans and childcare schedules. I interacted closely with parents on a daily basis and provided general childcare. I dispersed meals and handled the sanitation of my classroom. Daily interaction with various parents, staff members, and state agencies allowed me to hone my customer service skills. 07/2005 - 10/2005 Western Medical Accounts Receivable Representative As an accounts receivable representative for Western Medical I gained excellent experience in my chosen career field. I performed medical billing of durable medical equipment. As a part of my daily tasks Word, A.H.C.C.C.S., Excel, and M.A.R.S. software programs were used. I performed general office duties such as filing, faxing and copying documents and answering multiple phone lines. It was my duty to ensure information was input correctly and mailed in a timely manner. I was able to retain credits and experience toward my degree in respiratory therapy here.
07/2004 -10/2005 Mitchell Sweet and Associates Collections Agent While employed at Mitchell, Sweet and Associates I received my first experience in collections. I received multiple incoming calls for high-end department stores. I was responsible for payment collection of accounts from 30-120 days delinquent making approximately 250 calls per day. I entered sensitive customer data such checking account, credit card, or mail in payment information and provided customer service. I also updated demographic information. The use of multiple phone lines and computer software programs was also a routine part of this position.
