As a pay roll assistant I processed the payroll for corporate office in Seattle as well as 2 fish processing plants in Alaska. I was responsible for all new hire data entry as well as all terminations. As a budget analyst I was directly responsible for the daily reconciliation of all current Reimbursable Work Authorizations (RWAs). Processing all new RWAs, providing updated balances as requested, closing out RWAs, and certifying funds against RWAs. I also ensure that all new RWAs and requests for funds certification against ongoing RWAs met federal regulations. I regularly answer client and coworker questions on RWA policies and guidelines, and how they relate to specific RWAs. I worked with GSAâ€™s and the clientâ€˜s financial offices to ensure that all RWAs were kept up to date and the balances accurate.

As the Lead Travel Specialist I was responsible for creating and processing that all Blanket Travel Orders and non Blanket Travel Orders as needed for emergency HAZMAT response, I processed travel reimbursements making sure that all reimbursable items met regulations. I booked travel and accommodations for HAZMAT response, conferences, training, as well as arranging for and processing of Permanent Change of Duty Station Orders. I created and updated travel regulation binders to keep travels updated on all current travel regulations or any travel guidance or warning that were in effect at the time. I created memos for the employees updating them on any new policies or changes to any policy that might affect their travel. I also created memos to the management requesting special travel considerations documenting specific reasoning why said travel would not fit with in the standard criteria.
As a payroll clerk I was responsible for bi-weekly processing of employeeâ€™s time and attendance, tracking of sick leave, annual leave, compensation time and hazard pay.

I did the daily billing for the requested Independent Medical Exams (IME). I worked with the clients to reconcile any bills that were over 30 days old to ensure payment. This included the collection of over $100,000.00 in back invoices from clients. I worked with our clients and Medical Consultant Networkâ€™s management team to reconcile issues, ensuring timely receipt of reports, booking of appointments, and that the appointments were scheduled to meet the stipulations requested by the client while ensuring that the doctors used stayed impartial in the case.

Benefit administrator for over 50 clients:
I was responsible for over 50 companies with an employee base ranging from 5 to 500, representing my company at benefit fairs for my clients, helping their employees complete their open enrollment forms, explaining benefits and regulations, processing enrollment forms, processing claims requests, explaining to the employees what they could or could not claim and what back up documentation would be needed. On a quarterly basis I sent out balance sheets keeping the employees informed of their plan balance and how long they had left to claim that money. At the end of the plan year I was responsible for filing the companiesâ€™ flexible spending account taxes.
