Overview – I am a professional individual and entrepreneur with business development in many areas including in contracting, commercial structures, remodeling/renovation construction and maintenance experience, “General Contractor” as well as an “Electrical Contractor” (commercial/industrial/residential) I have recently left the commercial contracting company and electrical company at the end of 2007 and have moved on to new ventures.
The company(s) focused on commercial and residential remodeling/building, building, renovation, demolition and rehabilitation of new and existing properties ALL phases of remodeling and construction from design/build to tenant build-outs and renovations. Demolition (strictly commercial) all phases of the building stages from ground up construction to rehab projects. The divisions stretched into several arms of the company, building/remodeling, site and erosion control (commercial), concrete (commercial), building and facilities maintenance, and service contracts all in a full scale GC company. Site and utility coordination and installations, stone work both residential dimensional stone and commercial slab and clad projects. Commercial retaining wall systems, pavers and block work, concrete footers, piers, flat work, and walls. This also included high and low end construction management and overall contracting business and design concepts as well as full remodeling to include kitchens, baths, basements and overall commercial build-outs, residential construction, residential remodeling, commercial remodeling, design/build services, engineering services, and third party inspections. I member of responsible management and had a Virginia Class (A) BLD and current RLD contractor license and various county licenses. Most of the licenses where moved with the new management and owners, however I am, (for my own benefit) looking into obtaining a new CLASS A BLD contractors license and possibly a Maryland State MHIC license in the near future for the qualified individual for a business. I am looking to either venture to a new career or to expand my horizon at a permanent company position possibly within the same realm of business and trade related field or other type of business that may benefit from my abilities or a completely new type of business in which case my existing and future attributes will excel myself and a prospecting company.
I have also operated a stone and countertop business that included high end kitchen and bath sales and installations. This business focus was design, plan, install and manage both commercial and residential projects. Its main focus was on finish applications in the kitchens, baths, foyers, entries and exteriors of projects both commercial and residential. The company had 23 service crews (installation division), 6 office personnel, 4 sales/estimators and 3 crew leaders, a full cabinet and woodworking shop along with an installation team of 12 not including the 9 shop personnel.
They had a store front with retail location and a 3000 sq.ft. And a 15,000sq.ft. Warehouse for incoming deliveries as well as a full scale fabrication shop that housed another 8 installers and 10 fabricators. The business progressed very quickly and moved into various business ventures including the contracting company. Since then I have previously left that business in 2001 and had moved on with other business ventures.
I have also recently worked with a service company in 2007 that maintained and serviced storm water or the management of storm water and its lines and traps as well as jetting. This company focused on line scopes, cleaning, some repair, but more service of the actual lines then repair. E&S issues as well as hydro-excavating for utility location and trenching for various applications where excavation mechanically was not permitted, thus allowing us to use our technology and versatility for nearly any application.
I am very capable of managing multiple projects or multiple tasks on a daily basis. I am well versed in many facets of business and learn any business very quickly not to mention the experience in sales, design/build, installations, consulting, project management, client relations, trouble shooting and trade skilled both in and out of the field, in addition to office environment and client relation building and B2B sales (High sales volume of projects and services ranging from $0-$4-$5million.)
I do not have a degree from an accredited facility however (with the exception of H.S.), the real world work experience I do have is very valuable. I am very ambitious and dedicated to self development and very business savvy in many things and facets of business. I look for challenges and expect to be well compensated for it. I am also interested in building new relationships in new fields of business. I am young and ambitious not knowing what to do, for me is not an option. I am a valuable asset to any company even if it is not in the contracting business or related fields of business. Although I am not bi-lingual I do have some Spanish speaking ability on certain subjects and text/content. This company has new and current projects that are brought in from leads and in turn we schedule appointments for client consultations, we then base our plan on the client needs, wants and ides to present to them a proposal for the potential project. All the phases of remodeling and building are handled with this company both commercial, multi unit property rehabilitation projects, and maintenance contracts for commercial properties.
The maintenance contracts or services provided were plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and finishes of all trades either, on call or 24 hour emergency service calls and on yearly maintenance agreements with the company. Ground-up construction with site and ground work scope preformed. Clearing, grading, retaining walls (commercial-structural) all phases of new property acquisitions and build-outs.

Its second location handled the actual fabrication and importing directly, stone products, mainly from Italy or domestic importers here in the states. This company also had electrical, plumbing and HVAC services available. From small remodeling to actual building and moved on to Stone Image LLC., General Contracting and Remodeling in 1995. The named and business type was changed in early 2000 to Stone Image LLC – General Contacting. Company was sold. No current number.
