As Team Lead of Order Fill; assist the Supervisor of C-F Section and Down Lane of the warehouse. I assist Supervisor with palletizing outgoing shipments. I have worked as Down Lane Supervisor during peak season with a 8 hour production rate of 25,000 ship picks, once; setting a record with 12 team members I believe! I have undertaken the responsibility of training new team members at a rate of 4-6 at a time in the Down Lane area of work. As Supervisor of the Down Lane, I was responsible for following pick detail by waves; making sure that the waves were clean each day or no later than 48hrs. I was responsible for troubleshooting; pick detail and process; overseeing proper location of the productivity each day. I was responsible for pass down or recap of productivity to
the 2nd shift supervisors in person and/or by email, as well as to other team member heads in the department
I assist Supervisor in daily attendance log reports of productivity and manning based on the daily quota in the various sections. I assist in distribution pick tickets to team members of the Furniture department K1 & K2 Sections. I oversee proper palletizing of furniture and monitor the waves and itsâ€™ clean-ups; troubleshooting any other problems; training team members in the pick, and of the use of the RF terminal and process.
I supervise special project Over/Box 899 with 4-8 people weekly. I police the entire Order Fill warehouse for clean-up each day.
Each morning, as a part of our start-up meeting with team members of General Merchandise & Furniture, I conduct stretch exercises.
When Company policy requires; I conduct Safety Classes.
I assist Supervisor in General Merchandise; assigning pick tickets to the team members by waves or special priorities, and monitored waves and itsâ€™ clean-ups. I worked with team members to assure a safe work environment; proper use of equipment; monitored daily equipment log and assists team members in any/all areas of warehouse Order Fill. I supervised 12-15 people daily.

General Merchandise deals with exotic foods and wine distribution, pillows, baskets, miscellaneous household goods, and glass picture frames. Initiated special attention to insure that fragile items; glass items were packed properly, and paying close attention to labels and caution arrows; making certain that they point in the direction labeled.

I was hired as a WG-04 Parcel Post Packer. I identified materials/freight; packed by specifications; labeled, weighted, palletized, shipped, and recorded into inventory/tracking system.
I was promoted to WG-06 Warehouse Packer. I not only performed all the duties of a WG-04 Packer; I was sent on loading docks of ships to pack anchors, large ship parts and aircraft parts.
I was promoted to WG-08 Woodworker after 6 months on the job. I constructed, customized containers for items, parts, and tools, airplane and ship parts; containers for transporting vehicles.
I was certified yearly to handle Hazardous materials, proper selection of said containers. I supervised other woodworkers and assisted Woodworker foreman with instructions, job assignments, checking completed Containers for correct â€œspecsâ€. I supervised 6-8 people. I observed woodworkers for safely handling of electric saws, drills, nail guns, earplugs, and safety glasses.
I was promoted (Temp) to WS-04/06 Woodworker Foreman. I supervised 14-21 people. I also supervised 2-4 Secret clearance employees. I assigned work detail. I instructed Safety Meetings. I kept time for payroll and attendance reports; monitored productivity, inventory within budget allotted. I was responsible for selecting people that would work as a team on â€œspecial projectsâ€. I supervised Hazardous material packing, shipping, and transport. I was responsible for data management, tracking and retrieving materials in & outbound shipments.
