Westway Ford October 2008
Irving TX November 2008
I began as a trainee and moved to sales floor in four days. I completed my certification and now Ford Certified. Long hours and small pay were a big problem. The car industry is at a downfall, so it was in my best interest to search for another place of employment.
El Pastorcito June 2008 to
Irving TX August 2008
My position in this job required me to seat and serve customers who enter the eatery. My duties included to make the restaurant shift ready and also exit with a perfect inventory. I printed out the restaurants earnings at the end of my shift. This restaurant was recently opened and could not afford to pay any waitresses because of the slow business and I was asked to leave.
Sonic Drive-In May 2005 to
Dallas TX August 2005
I started as a food prep associate but progressed quickly then moved to a carhop the next day. I was to take orders from the consumers and to make sure that each one left with the correct order satisfied. My post also was to refill anything that was needed for the front end of the restaurant. Maternity leave was my reason for absence from this job.
Carnival Food April 2005 to
Dallas TX May 2005
I was a cashier. I checked out customers on a regular basis. This was all that my job required me to do. Personal problem made it necessary for me to leave this job.
Taco Cabana June 2004 to
Dallas TX Dec. 2004
My title was cashier but consisted of also food prep. I worked on the front end of the restaurant face to face with the customers. I often also worked with the drive-thru area. Food prep was a constant thing in this job. I relocated my residence and I was too distant to remain employed at this location.
I attended North Dallas High School for 2 yrs with an average of A-B but was not able to graduate. On July 23, 2008, I was issued my Certificate of High School Equivalency of the State of Texas while attending North Lake College.
I am licensed with the TABC through May 5, 2010. I speak Spanish as a second language. I am good with computers. I also can lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day so strength is not a problem. I am eager to start a career that does not have a dead end.
