Technology Adoption Modeling Project Leader
Conducted research project on “Agent-based Modeling for Technology Adoption in Healthcare” with respect to continous glucose monitoring devices.
Led three undergraduate students in design life cycle, specification, data gathering, and quantitative analysis efforts of the project.
Individually responsible for the researching, modeling, and validation of patient agents in the project model. The deliverable was a simulation software tool that simulates decision makers and predicts various technology adoptions within the healthcare industry.
The project awarded to be presented at the Annual National Diabetes Association meeting conducted by Journal of Diabetes Science and Technology.
PFIZER INC., Istanbul, Turkey, Summer 2007
Market Research Analyst
Led team of four interns for a project, which involved process redesign and capability outsourcing for maximum efficiency in Pfizer’s Human Resources operations.
Performed benchmarking activities for different recruiting strategies in an effort to align their costs and benefits.
Conducted a case study about the operational efficiency of the outsource consulting company that the HR department is working with.
Organized meetings with the related Finance Associates to diagnose internal costs at Pfizer’s HR division, investigated the accounting books of the department, conducted linear programming based on available statistical data of alternative recruiting strategies.
The alternative suggestion was the establishment of a call center within Pfizer which had been implemented during fall ’07 after the post-investigation and approval of the HR Directors. The call center increased the efficiency of Call Management by 70%.
