I am a Graphic Artist seeking a position of a Graphic Artist or Art Director.
I am exceptionally committed to producing quality work and have won 6 awards for design. At Rodale Press I developed strong layout and typographic skills working on Prevention magazine and various other publications. As an Art Director at IMS Health, a pharmaceutical market research company, I worked on a variety of promotional materials. At my last position at Merion Publications as a Senior Graphic Artist, I honed my conceptual, design, layout and typographic skills, having been responsible for the design, layout and production of 6 magazines. In my last position I was responsible for the design and production of ADVANCE for Audiology magazine. Unfortunately, I was one of fifty people laid-off due to a drastic decrease in advertising sales.
While I don’t have experience designing Web sites, I am signed up for extensive continuing education courses in Web site design. I hope you would consider me based on my experience and quality of design work. Please go to my Web site and take a look at a sampling of my work. I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you, show you my work, and discuss the position.
