Assistant Manager of Office Operations (June 2006 – October 2007)
I worked with Systems Development in customizing MicroSoft Projects so that it would interface with Maximo (financial) so that we would end some of the double entries being made by using separate programs for scheduling and billing allowing a collection of data to be gathered in one program for scheduling and financial planning and tracking. When that option was rejected I worked on programming sheets in Excel with auto information being pulled to present a variety of options of reports for printing. I also collected and prepared flowcharts for processes used in Design and Construction Services including a collection of any forms templates and also a collection of reference data on how different processes were being done to be used in making explanations of changes being made easier to understand.
Construction Project Planner Scheduler (September 2004 – June 2006)
I attended Planning Design and Review meetings and held weekly update meetings. Responsible for Project and Construction Forecasting and Scheduling for Design and Construction Services. Duties included some estimating and working with the estimator to gather project information for the schedule. Placing projects in the schedule and assigning supervisors so as to balance out the workload. A major duty was to see and fix problems in the planning for projects before the projects were due to start construction. Constantly being a reminder to the team members to communicate often throughout the project process. Making sure that Long Lead items were on order and checking that EH&S surveys have been completed before construction was scheduled to start. I was responsible for the construction administration of every project; i.e. all labor and material was accounted for, punch list complete and client and architect approval was received prior to final completion.
Interior Design Assistant – as Scheduler for Construction Services (February 2002 – September 2004)
I transferred to Construction Services as in Interim Scheduler. I worked on the schedule daily to make it as accurate as possible. I was the communication link between Design and Construction Services.
