Student Teacher (4th Grade)
I instructed 4th Grade curriculum, designed and implemented classroom management, poetry project, literature circles, as well as, taught from reading series. Furthermore, I taught a unit called, “You Can Make a Difference” which, I developed by using Backward Design. I also assisted students on individual and small group basis to reteach and give on-the-spot intervention when needed.
Student Teacher (5th Grade, Special Education)
I gave intervention to five students who had labels of learning disability. I taught these students in a small group setting during reading, spelling, vocabulary and grammar. I developed supplemental teaching tools and often used technology as a resource. I worked one on one with each student during math in an inclusive setting. I lead an annual Individual Education Plan meeting.
