Over saw the installation of electrical systems for the JB Webb CO. one of the largest conveyor companies in the world. Have worked in many of the auto plants installing all kinds of equipment and conveyor systems. Some jobs were short term shut downs with a “must be down by” dead line and some were long term major projects. I also have experience in the waste water and water treatment field having worked on three major projects in the metro Detroit area installing SCADA systems (supervisory control and data accumulation). The JB Webb Company also has an air line baggage handling division and I have worked on several jobs for this division. All of these jobs have a great deal of automation and/or are PLC driven.
Installed street lighting systems in the cities of Allen Park, Canton and Flat Rock Mi. Also wired the 33rd District Court House addition in Woodhaven Mi. including a new service and all of the security and court recording systems.
Small commercial and residential contractor working on all kinds of projects. Was directly involved in automating a large green house operation.
Worked for the Maintenance of Way Department installing crossing gate systems, replacing signals along the right of way. This is where I learned how to operate heavy equipment like the back hoe and bull dozer.
Hired to wire two machines for this small company that built automated equipment. One was an automated exhaust pipe bending machine for A-P parts in Toledo, OH. and the other was a parts washing machine to wash castings after they came out of milling for GM power train in Romulus, MI. Unfortunately these were the last machines built by this company at this location having moved there operation back to New York.
