Managed day-to-day IT Operations for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) enterprise, including engineering, migration and administration.
Planned, documented, and migrated SatisFusion’s three data centers into a new MCI data center with minimal downtime. This resulted in co-location cost savings in excess of $100K/year; increased connectivity uptime and enhanced system performance.
Maintained production Linux, Solaris and Windows servers hosted in the corporate data center including multiple Exchange and Sendmail email servers and Xert Suite Marketing System.
Downsized server network by 25% while improving uptime and performance.
Implemented load balancing of production web servers using Cisco Load Director technology.

Role shifted to migrating all production and development servers from CA to GA. Managed cross-country migration from start to finish – including oversight of new server farm buildout in GA, and expansion of backup server farm in IL office. Additionally wrote documentation and trained GA support staff as part of handoff. All project schedules were met on time and on budget.

Streaming technologies implemented: Flash, Media Player, QuickTime, Real Player G2. Use of open source technologies translated to implementation savings of approx. $300K.
Managed design, production and implementation of all flash corporate website. Rolled out on schedule and on budget.
Evaluated new technologies with an eye for implementation within new studio productions. As part of this focus, increased LAN from single Netware server to multiple Novell Intranetware 4.11, Netware 5 (including web server/email web gateway), Windows NT 4.0, Macintosh and Red Hat Linux servers (web server, mail server and firewall server). Standardized on Windows based software packages and established licensing compliance on all software packages. Established standards for company approved packages and centralized purchasing to provide effective technical support.
